Title: Thesis Writing: Writing Process for Self

Abstract:

A doctoral thesis is a coherent, integrated and critical research story arising from your research journey. It documents your research output, personal reflection as the final product of your doctorate study. The writing process is the interplay between writing for self and writing for others that incrementally transforms the journey into the story. Thesis writing for postgraduate doctorate students has been always challenging yet critical during your research journey. This report sheds lights on writing process for self and aims to help to clarify one’s aims, as author, of a piece of writing. We will also discuss how to identify the expectations and needs of the target readership. There will be online and offline actives to engage participants to develop hands on skills to promote free writing and focused writing.
