报告摘要：

In this talk, Dr. Wang share his research projects in business analytics with computational technologies including machine learning and blockchain. In particular, he will discuss reinforcement learning for vehicles routine problems, clustering for IoT security, and blockchain in food production and supply chain management. Dr. Wang also likes to share his view on future AI for business applications.

报告人简介：

Dr. Honggang Wang Is an associate professor of Technology and Operations Management in the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University in 2009. Before joined CPP two years ago, Dr. Wang has worked as tenure track faculty in industrial engineering, College of Engineering at Rutgers University for several years. His teaching interests include business analytics, supply chain management, and blockchain systems. His research interests lie in algorithm design, systems modeling and optimization, and application of learning algorithms in cybersecurity, business operations and service fields. Dr. Wang has led and supervised more than twelve student research projects in cybersecurity, statistical learning, and business analytics in recent years. Dr. Wang’s research has been funded by IBM, Siemens Technology, and a few energy companies. His work has been published in high-quality scientific journals such as INFORMS Journal on Computing, European Journal of Operational Research, Naval Research Logistics, etc. Dr. Wang has won the IBM faculty awards in 2012 for his outstanding research in energy systems.
